Caithness

Often discribed as "The land beyond the highlands", Caithness is characterised by it's wide open landscapes with big skies, dramatic cliffs, wide sandy beaches, and the open moorland and contrasting farmland of the interior.
Caithness occupies the extreme North East of Scotland, it is bordered on two sides by the sea, the Pentland Firth to the north, and the North Sea to the east. The landward boundary is with Sutherland to the south and west. Caithness is part of the Highland Region.
