A Bit of a Mixed Bag

Small Landscapes:- The details that have caught my eye, within the landscape, part of a building an old boat or a piece of farm machinery these are often the things that give the character to our environment.

Buildings:- The north Highlands is rich in vernacular buildings, many of which are redundant, a report for HRH The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay identifies 1350 vernacular buildings in Caithness alone that are worthy of restoration, this portfolio includes images of some of these buildings and others from the rest of the North Highlands that I feel an important part of the landscape.

Surfing:- The North Coast of Scotland is one Scotland's best surfing locations, with both Thurso East and Brims Ness providing outstanding surfing and opportunities for photography.
